Insurance Survey - Condition Report
Typically required by insurance providers.
For sports cruisers, production yachts, motor boats, and motor yachts
£12 per foot
(Minimum charge: £350)
Example: 30' vessel × £12 = £360.00

Pre-Purchase
Survey
Ideal for secondhand sports cruisers, yachts, and motor boats.
From £15 per foot
(Minimum £400)
Example: 35' × £15 = £525

Note: Sea trials are not included.
They can be booked separately (£400–£600, location-dependent), or we can provide a free checklist if you wish to conduct your own.

Canal Boat
Pre-Purchase Survey
Steel and GRP canal boats.
£15 per foot
(Minimum charge: £600)
Example: 56' boat × £15 = £840.00

Fibreglass Hull
Osmosis Survey
£10 per foot
(Minimum charge: £350)
Example: 56' vessel × £10 = £560

Damage Survey Report
For production yachts, motor boats, and motor yachts.

Oil Analysis
Test
Includes oil extraction and full laboratory testing with a detailed report.

Ultrasonic Steel Hull
Thickness Survey
Price applies to steel hulls only. Please enquire separately for iron hulls.

Important:
Accurate readings require clean hull plating. Vessels with heavy coatings, paint, or bitumen ('blacking') may require partial stripping or shot blasting.
Limited testing may be possible if coatings are intact.
Example: 40' steel vessel × £15 = £600

Catamarans & Multi-Hull Vessels
£10 per foot per hull
(Minimum charge: £650
Example: 40' vessel × 2 = £800

Covers all non-survey work, such as overseeing repairs and renovations.
Pricing is provided either as a fixed quote or daily rate, depending on the project.
